Hi! I’m Michelle Wood. For me, producing events is about keeping the process fun and creating an all-encompassing experience. Celebrations make my heart happy; watching your story unfold in event form and seeing all the little pieces we’ve talked about come together in harmony is what I love most about my career.

I’ve always been a planner. My career started 15 years ago when I was interning for a wedding planner in my hometown. I had one of those “ah ha” moments at the very first wedding I worked. Since that day, I have worked alongside some of the most coveted planners in the Midwest, New York City and the Hamptons producing an immense variety of events and weddings for elite and diverse clients.

Recently, I traded in my snow boots for flip flops and settled in sunny South Florida where Meraki Wood Events was born. To stay inspired I seek inspiration everywhere in my daily life but nature is my true creative muse. When I’m not creating beautiful experiences for my clients, as an avid runner, you might catch me along the local sidewalks training for my next marathon. I enjoy going to the beach, boating and checking out what’s new at the local farmers markets. I enjoy everything living in South Florida offers but traveling fuels my soul.
